Dixit Anantakara :
"Anantakara is a Sanskrit adjective that translates as" endless rendering, magnifying indefinitely, rendering indefinite or infinite".
He "imposed" while I was looking for a title that would meet my musical artistic intention: to walk from sound to being by tirelessly browsing the quest for the meeting point of opposites, an unexpected point that regenerates and accomplished with calligraphy sound. A verticality that infuses horizontality. A project that creates sound, meaning and breath by opening spaces-time where we follow initiatory journeys through sonic songs invoking poetic, imaginary and spiritual interiority.
I deploy music that revolves around "sound", its immanence, and no longer around "sound" as our classical and modern heritage have taught us. It is music that opens up to the dimension of the cosmos, and therefore to spatialization: the top, the bottom, the extent, the orientations, the cycles, the shifts. Sound is approached as a material in its own right - with its own requirements - which... from fold to fold, awakens and expands like a universe. With its own time, its singular coherence, its unique typology, its imperative necessity. And the more imperious it is, the more dense will be its crossing; the more there will be the unexpected, the surprise, the real and the universal. A tear in the veil of the known. From sound to being.
Improvisation has an important part in my compositions. As I like to repeat "Improvising cannot be improvised". It is a way of being. Composing is above all listening.
Anantakara's music is inspired by a vast spectrum: from contemporary music to shamanic music, from electro to Indian ragas, from rock to techno slights, from ambient to jazz ... And explores the theater , performance, cinema, ritual, contemplation, dance... Anantakara is part of the musical universe of Radio PLENITUDE.
Sit back, listen, enjoy...
